| 1 Peter 1:18,19 “. . . ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, . . . but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” Praise God for such a wonderful gift from the Almighty God. Just think for a moment how blessed we are. The Scriptures tell us that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” in Romans 3:23, but God has sent His son, Jesus, to died on the cross for each one of us. He has shed His blood to provide us with forgiveness of our sins. Because of this sacrifice we have the possibility to live victoriously over sin even though we live with wickedness all around us. “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57. Will you accept this great gift now by confessing your sins and living obediently to the word of God? |
